FIN 4230 - Financial Modeling and Analytics (3) Credit Hours
This course connects Finance theory with real-world business problems. Students will learn to build standard financial models in corporate finance ranging from the simple NPV analysis to the relatively more complex Pro Forma enterprise valuation. The course covers a variety of modeling techniques such as sensitivity and scenario analysis, optimization methods, regression analysis and Monte Carlo simulations and will incorporate current analytical techniques in the field. Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisites: FIN 3200 or Department Head approval. Junior standing. Differential course fee will be assessed.
