GEOL 4450 - Hydrology (4) Credit Hours
A quantitative course that investigates the movement and storage of water through the hydrologic cycle. Emphasis is placed on measurement of key hydrologic processes: precipitation, evaporation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, and groundwater flow. Fall semesters. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: A previous 3-4 credit course in geology and GEOL 2100 , CHEM 1110 /CHEM 1110L or ENCE 3610 or Department Head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
