GEOL 3220 - Soil Properties, Genesis, and Development Across the Landscape

(4) Credit Hours

Intensive introduction to soil genesis and development, and the study of soils across landscapes past and present. Mandatory field trips. Offered alternate Spring semesters. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hour.  Prerequisites: A previous 3-4 credit course in geology (excluding GEOL 2100) or ESC 1500  and CHEM 1110  and CHEM 1110L , or Department Head approval. Mandatory field trips. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
