• Students seeking licensure to teach Chemistry should pursue their major through Chemistry: STEM Education, B.S. 

Additional Information and Notes

2.0 GPA in all required major and related courses.

An approved First Year Experience course taken from another department or institution can satisfy the CHEM 1250 requirement. This requirement is waived for majors who transfer into UTC with more than 15 hours of earned college credit.

Minimum of 39 hours of 3000 and 4000 level courses.

Electives to complete 120 hours.
